Jeremy Enigk - “Restart”
Off of Jeremy Enigk’s new album OK Bear. This album is surprisingly upbeat and very straightforward. It’s nice to hear Enigk’s take on guitar pop. This song almost reminds me of something Ryan Adams would write. I guess he’s saving the more epic songs for the rumored Sunny Day Real Estate reunion. The production on this album is less… epic than any of Enigk’s previous efforts too. No organ overtures found here.

If this is true, then we can chalk up the good reunion tally to three (SDRE, The Get Up Kids, Blink 182), although the bad reunions are still in the lead (Creed, Limp Bizkit, Crazy Town, Sublime).
