“Last Chance For A Slow Dance”

A short film where two people walking in opposite directions are caught in an awkward dance on the street. This goes on for two minutes and reaches ridiculous heights.

Starring Lee Berger, Emma Wiseman, and Ali Abidi. Sound by Ali Abidi. Written, produced, and directed by Shaun Seneviratne.

Shot on a Canon T2i with Zeiss 50mm using a Jag 35 Field Runner set-up. Audio with Tascam DR-100 and Sennheiser shotgun mic. Edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

Featuring the following music that I do not own but highly encourage purchasing (links below):

Birthmark - “Balloons” and “On Birthdays” http://birthmark.bandcamp.com/album/shaking-hands

Joan of Arc - “Olivia Lost” http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/index.php?id=183

Euphone (feat. Tim Kinsella) - “Friend in Common” http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/index.php?id=948

Just heard back from New School

and I got into the MA Media Studies program and received a scholarship covering 25% of the tuition costs!

General plan:

  1. Deal with stupid work bullshit until the end of July when I quit
  2. Go on tour for most of August (midwest) and early September (Europe)
  3. Enter the world of academia again and try to put off getting a real job again for as long as humanly possible
