Blunt Mechanic - “Aluminum and Light” off of World Record
The new album from my favorite lyricist/guitarist/musician Ben Barnett. This album is great. Some songs will remind you of Kind of Like Spitting (the jazzier ones). Others sound like stripped down folk songs played on an electric guitar with the gain at 11. Overall, a fantastic album.
Definitely in the running for my favorite album of the year along with Aloha and Fang Island.
