This awesome video features interview footage with filmmaker Wong Kar-wai and cinematographer Christopher Doyle. Seeing them together, the way they interact and share ideas, gives a good picture of how they come up with the energy and poetry behind their films. These two are geniuses.

Fantastic interview from the best team in cinema. I love hearing how limitations (eg. space, shooting without permits) and mistakes (processing the film incorrectly, using too many filters) get adapted into an aesthetic that reflects the themes of the film.
